HFEA Statistics

CRGH reports its annual statistics per embryo transfer e.g. If 100 women had an embryo transfer and 50 were successful then the pregnancy rate would be 50% per embryo transfer.

The HFEA is reporting the annual statistics per embryo transferred e.g. If 100 women each had two embryos transferred and 50 women were successful then the pregnancy rate would be 25% per embryo transferred. This is called the implantation rate. It will include every embryo transferred irrespective of developmental stage and embryo quality. Good quality embryos will have a higher implantation rate.

At CRGH the number of embryos to transfer is decided on an individual basis. Each patient is assessed on a range of factors including developmental stage and embryo quality to ensure that the patient has the best chance of achieving a healthy singleton pregnancy.

Our clinic prides itself on the quality of the treatment patients receive, and this is reflected in our high success rates. Our success rates are well above the national average and in the last published HFEA Patient's Guide we were positioned as the top clinic in the country.
