Our History
Mr Paul Serhal started the CRGH (formerly known as Assisted Conception Unit) in 1990 with a team of specialist doctors, nurses and embryologists. Through the last 20 years, the team has helped thousands of couples have a child. We have a commitment to offering a full range of infertility treatments to our patients, under the direction of our highly experienced team of specialists.
The high quality of our treatment, and our research and development within the assisted conception field, has meant that our clinic has gained a reputation for excellence. Collaboration with the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis Team (UCL Centre for PGD) at University College London has led us to become world-class leaders in the pioneering of new techniques, such as PGD.

We are situated in the Eastman Dental Hospital in a purpose built clinic over two floors. We boast our own private theatre and a state-of-the-art laboratory and treatment rooms utilizing the latest scan machines. We continue to work tirelessly in researching and implementing new protocols and techniques to reflect the most up-to-date treatments.
As our clinic has changed and grown, we have become a world leader in reproductive and genetic healthcare. In 2009, we felt that it was time for the name of our clinic to reflect the growing and changing field within which we work. Therefore we changed our name from the Assisted Conception Unit to the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health.
The Centre is accredited to the internationally recognised standard for quality management of businesses. This means the CRGH has been externally assessed and found to have a consistency of approach in developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system that enhances customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.
