Patients arriving for Theatre
Patients arriving for theatre should approach the Unit via the Arch entrance to the New Wing, and proceed down the steps to the Ward entrance. Disabled patients should approach the Unit via the Arch and take the ramp to the front door. Please ring the buzzer for assistance. The lift will take you to the Basement area and access to the Ward entrance.
How to get Here
The Unit is about ten minutes walk from Kings Cross Mainline Station, and Thameslink, Chancery Lane and Russell Square underground Stations.
Numbers 17, 45 and 46 buses stop outside.
Parking
There is no car parking available for patients to the ACU. We do however have two disabled bays which must be booked in advance of your appointment.
There is however an NCP Car Park in Judd Street which is not very far away.
Interpreter
If you require someone to translate for you it will be necessary for you to bring your own interpreter.
Confidentiality
We are legally required to maintain the confidentiality of all our patients. This means that our staff will not discuss or provide details about your treatment to close relatives or friends without your specific permission.
Your Medical Records
You may view your records by arrangement with the CRGH. If you wish to have a copy of your records, please put your request in writing to the Unit.
